40 years ago Ipswich Town were the toast of the English footballing landscape, challenging on three fronts and taking Europe by storm! Under the guidance of Sir Bobby Robson the team won the UEFA Cup and finished runners up in the league as well as making the FA Cup semi final. The team featured a bevy of ITFC legends including Mick Mills, Arnold Muhren, Frans Thijssen and Terry Butcher to name but a few.
